We will tour the ranch and share some of the experiences of the weekend. SO BE READY! Your kids will eagar to share what they have learned,
I am confident many of you will be having purposeful conversations on your way home! Once you are finished touring you are free to leave with your camper.
NOTE: If you are having your camper carpool or having someone else pick them up, please let us know who is authorized to do so, by noting it on the Registration Form.
How many young people typically attend each session?
On average, there can be anywhere from 3 to 10 campers during the week.
What is your camper/counselor ratio?
Our program is specially designed for small groups. Typically we have a 6:1 ratio although that ratio varies somewhat based on ages. Any groups that exceed a 6:1 ratio will have an additional counselor working with them throughout their stay.
What if my camper takes medications?
All medications brought for a camper must be clearly marked with their name and directions for dispensing and will be kept in a locked cabinet and dispensed as prescribed. Be sure all medications are in their labeled prescription bottle.
Please refer to the MEDICATIONS segment of the registration packet that must be signed in order to allow Two Hearts to administer any medicines.
Will I be called if my child is ill or gets hurt?
Absolutely! Our policy is to call parents whenever a camper feels ill or get hurt, however we probably won’t call if we need to remove a splinter or bandage a scrape.
What about meals?
Our beverages, snacks and meals will be delicious, plentiful, and nutritious. Because we will be so active, we will need plenty of fuel!
What if my child has food allergies? Can the menu be adjusted?
If your camper has a medically diagnosed allergy or special dietary needs, please note in the MEDICAL INFORMATION section of your registration packet.
What if my child has never ridden a horse or spent time in the company of horses?
Not a problem! We offer horse experiences for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels and each camper will be given activities that match their skill level.
